IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT PROCEDURES FOR OPENING A NEW ACCOUNT

To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify and record information that identifies each person who opens an account.

What this means for you: When you open an account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also ask to see your driver's license or other identifying documents.

What You Will Need

Thank you for choosing Redstone Federal Credit Union for your financial needs. To open an account you must be at least 18 years of age and provide

  • U.S. Social Security Number
  • Proof of residency, U.S. citizen or a U.S. resident alien
  • Driver's license or other U.S. issued ID (passport, permanent resident card, state issued non-driver's ID, military ID, or military-dependent ID)
  • Previous home address (if you have lived at your home address less than two years)

Redstone Federal Credit Union will perform a credit inquiry for all applicants' background checks. If you have a credit freeze, you must temporarily release it to apply.
