ORLANDO, FL – On Friday, June 14, 2024, the League of Southeastern Credit Unions & Affiliates (LSCU & Affiliates) presented the LSCU Awards for Credit Union of the Year at the 2024 Southeast Credit Union Conference & Expo (SCUCE) in Orlando, Florida. The LSCU Awards recognizes credit unions and credit union professionals who demonstrate exemplary service and accomplish significant achievements.
The Credit Union of the Year award recognizes affiliated credit unions for their outstanding achievements in the various areas of day-to-day operations, financial prowess, and community outreach.
The winners of the Credit Union of the Year award based on asset size are as follows:
“These credit unions exemplify the credit union mantra of ‘people helping people,’ going above and beyond to serve their members and ensure their communities have access to the tools they need to achieve financial independence and stability,” said Samantha Beeler, President of LSCU. “From philanthropic offerings and community outreach to financial literacy programs and innovative services, these credit unions are vital to the advancement of their local communities and the lives of their members. We are honored to name them as winners of the Credit Union of the Year Award.”
Next year’s LSCU Awards will be presented at the inaugural ENGAGE Conference, LSCU’s rebranded annual convention formerly known as SCUCE.
