HARTSELLE, Ala. (Dec. 5, 2024) – Redstone Federal Credit Union and the Hartselle Beautification Association kicked off the holiday season with a tree-lighting community event. The new 18-foot Christmas tree at the center of the celebration was made possible with money the beautification group earned through its partnership with Redstone.
The organization has earned $134,143 over the 16 years since it partnered with Redstone. This initiative allows individuals who join the association as members to automatically qualify for Redstone membership, with all of their fees directly benefiting local beautification efforts.
“We are thrilled to see our partnership with the Hartselle Beautification Association come to life in such a vibrant way,” said Hartselle branch manager Tammy Lott.
Carolyn Wallace, Executive Director of the Hartselle Beautification Association, noted, “It has been the most wonderful partnership with Redstone. The funds generated from membership fees have allowed us to undertake numerous projects that enhance our city’s outdoor spaces. Our Christmas tree project brings the community together during this joyous season.”
The tree-lighting ceremony drew families and friends from across Morgan County, creating a wonderful atmosphere for holiday cheer. This initiative is just one of many projects funded by the partnership, which continues to play a vital role in improving the look and feel of Hartselle’s outdoor areas.
As Redstone looks ahead to the New Year, it remains dedicated to supporting initiatives that enhance the quality of life for its communities.
